Alright, so Trainer Tale number one! Copied from a conversation between me and a few Pokemon friends on ACC:
you guys are never going to believe this, but I caught Ho-oh.....in a GREAT BALL. O_O!
ok I was gonna give up and just surf to Kanto to train up and get it later but then Ethan kept stopping me saying the kimono girls wanted to see me. So I was totally prepared to kill it and trade for another one since I got the event dogs and stuff, I was tired of losing this thing, but I gave it one more try.
I used pursuit and its Fire Blast nearly killed Tauros, I put in Slowbro to surf it, but that only did 1/4 damage because it sunny day'd. Then I switched to magneton to paralyze and it killed him with sacred fire. T_T It wasnt going well. I had to use Slowbro again to take those fire moves and Extrasensory. I used Yawn and Ultraball'd it. popped out didnt even shake. So I yawned it again and used Duskball. Popped out didnt even shake. Not cool.
Then it used both its fire moves over and over which burned Slowbro every single time which never happened before omg I had to use Full Restores for 5 turns to stay alive, so to stall it for a minute I used Yawn again and before it went to sleep, I threw a Great ball....and it stayed in there >_> O_O I thought the game would explode.
It shall henceforth be called HO-HO!
